So yesterday we were moving things over to my in-laws house and my husbands step mom was asking me how much total i had lost so I told her I had lost 21 lbs and she said: "I thought you had lost quite a bit. Your looking really good and you are even in real jeans. WOW. Good Job!" So that got me thinking...I wear jeans all the time so apparently I must not wear them when i go to their house because it makes it sound like i am always wearing my stretchy "fat" pants or something. I just thought her comment was weird. But it still made me feel good.
So last night was our first night staying at Bob's. It was nice. I think it will be okay. Plus I couldn't have asked for a better house to move into other than my mom's because they are totally trying to help out in every way possible to help me with my diet. They want to have dinner every night all of us together which I think is totally awesome as long as I get to help with some of the cooking otherwise I would feel like I was mooching. The only thing I don't like is it puts a lot of attention on me and my diet and I don't like that part. But they are trying to learn what I can eat and how I can eat it. Like we had chicken last night and they were seriously asking me like 20 questions as to how I can cook it and what seasonings I can put on it and what vegetables I can have with it and so on. I am honestly surprised at how much they want to try and make dinners "me friendly". If you know my relationship with my father-in-law you can understand my surprise at this.
Anyway I think this will be an okay living arrangement until we can get out in an apartment or something in a few months. We will see. We just have to take it one step at a time, no need to rush, It's like learning to fly or falling in love, it's gonna happen if we just let it happen and we find a reason why, one step at a time. (song by Jordan Sparks that I love!) Sorry just had to add in those lyrics, the song is running through my head and I can't make it stop.

Bible Study
So I am truly and whole heartily enjoying this bible study. In the past I have started two other bible studies and the same thing happens, I have to force myself to sit down on Wednesday night and do up the whole weeks worth of lessons and then force myself to go to bible study on Thursday. The first one I did I liked but ended up not finishing due to health and such of the boys. This last one i just never really got hooked by so I ended up not finishing it.
This time however i am totally hooked!!! I tried to find time all weekend long to sit down and do some of the lessons but it was too hard with being at Karalee and Adam's and trying to focus just wasn't happening for me.
So yesterday I finally got to sit down and start the lessons. I made it through day 3 and stopped only because it was 10pm and I was tired. So today Brad and I got some sorting and packing done as quick as possible because I wanted to sit down and do more work on the lessons. So finally I got to work on them this afternoon, stopped for dinner and then started again around 7pm. Here it is 8:28 and I am finished with day 5. For the first time since I started bible studies, I am finished with all weeks lessons and still have 2 days before bible study.
I am fighting back the urge to work ahead in week 2 even. I am really enjoying this study and just wanted to share that. I am excited about what I will learn on this journey and so much more insight than I have ever had. WOW! I can't wait for Thursday night.

Oh...the thoughts of a child
So we finally sat down with Cameron and told him that we would be getting rid of the dogs and that the guinea pig was going to live with Bamma and Papa and that the cat would be going to Granny and Papas. So we explained that we would still see Winnie and Corky (Guinea and cat) but we wouldn't be able to see the dogs anymore because they will be going to a new house with new people to love them and care for them. So here is the rest of the dialogue:
Me: "So Cameron we want you to know that this all going to happen really fast and it is going to be sad but the dogs, cat and guinea pig will all be going to new homes and we will be moving in with Grandpa Bob and Grandma Carolyn."
Cameron: "Are you going to sell Ethan too?"
Brad and I just laughed and told him no we weren't selling Ethan or him. That only the pets had to go. He made us laugh so much though it made things a little easier. I told him earlier today that he wouldn't be going to preschool anymore after this month and he seems okay with it for now but like our friend Bryce said, he probably won't comprehend exactly what I mean until the first week that I don't take him anymore. So we will have to see but I had to share his Ethan comment it was just too darn cute and the look of worry on his face when he said it. Such a sweetheart. Talk to you all later.

We need a good home for our pets.
We are going to have to move. Our lease is going to be up and with Brad's upcoming layoff we have to move. Unfortunately we can't take our dogs or guinea pig. So....we need a safe loving home for our two dgs and our guinea pig. The dogs are 11yrs and 9yrs old. They are both outside dogs and great with children. The guinea pig is a sweetie just hasn't been held much. She comes with a cage, water bottle, food dish and a bag of food. So please if you are interested or if you know of anyone who is please let us know. We are kinda desperate. We really don't want to take them to the humane society. So PLEASE HELP IN ANY WAY YOU CAN! Thank you.

Prayer request
I am sending out a prayer request for financial help. (Please don't tell Brad he would be mad that I am sharing our crisis with anyone.) So since Brad was off for 2 weeks we had to use our savings to get through. Well now he is back to work and Friday we will get a paycheck (phew!). So that is good news but the bad news is that his boss is talking about a possible layoff in 2 more weeks and if he does get laid off then we are going to be in BIG trouble. We don't have enough time to get our savings back up to what we need to cover bills on top of Brad's unemployment. So please pray that for one of 3 scenarios: either Brad makes it through the layoff and gets to stay on for a while longer, there is no layoff (which would be fabulous) or that God will help us some other way get through this rough winter time. Once it warms up I know he will have work it's just getting through till then. We did run into a friend Sunday at the bowling alley that offered to let Brad work for him and his brother if or when he gets laid off given that they have work for Brad to do of course. SO that was a blessing we just have to hope that they have work if Brad gets laid off in two weeks otherwise I don't know how we are going to get caught up on bills and with the bankruptcy we can't afford to screw up our credit any further. So please pray for financial help and please pray that i can relax and just put my faith in God that we will get through this. Thanks!

It's been awhile....
So I haven't blogged in awhile partly because not much has been happening and partly because I have been blogging daily on my diet blog. So the holidays were good for us. We spent friday Dec. 19th thru Dec. 23rd at Adam and Karalee's in Richland. That was fun. We went down for my consult appt and planned on coming home saturday after my appt and then decided to stay till Sunday. We headed home Sunday and made a wrong turn and headed towards Yakima. about that time we realize that I have left my purse and phone at Adam and Karalee so we stop in Sunnyside (?) and decide to turn around and go get it and then make sure we take the right turn to head home. So on our way back to their house we find out that Brad was going to be off until the 5th of January so we decided to stay another night and then we decided to go to chucky cheese's on Monday and went home tuesday. It was really fun and really quite relaxing as we were away from everything and the boys got to play all day and we started and finished our christmas shopping. I can't wait to go down next weekend. We won't get to stay a week but it will still be fun and enjoyable.
I already posted previously about our Christmas day so that leaves New Years. We spent new years eve hanging out at home with Shawn and Ty. It was actually pretty cool. They boys played until midnight and then zonked and Ethan fell asleep about 10 but was fairly pleasant when we woke him up for new year smooches and hugs.
Nothing else has really been going on at our house. The two weeks off with Brad and Cameron both home all the time was really nice but I was getting kinda stir crazy being in the house all day every day. Cameron is now back to preschool and enjoying it as much as ever. Brad is back to work and hating it as always. At least today was warmer and he didn't have to wear his coveralls all day so he was happy about that. Anyway gonna go for now and hopefully take a bath if Brad is willing to keep an eye on the boys as he plays his computer game. Talk to y'all later.
